SUBJECT: IBM i Power7 (AS400) System Maintenance

The Office of Technology (OTECH) is will be performing system maintenance on the Government of Guam IBM i Power7 (AS400) systems for the Department of Revenue and Taxation (DRT) and the Department of Corrections (DOC). This system maintenance is intended to reduce the impact to system operations that may result from unplanned outages or program failures, as well as maintain optimal system performance and availability.

System maintenance will result in downtime for services hosted on the IBM i Power7 (AS400) systems located at the OTECH Datacenter, which includes payment systems (pay.guam.gov & TPS systems). System maintenance will begin on the evening of Friday, June 18, 2021, and will continue thru the evening of Saturday, June 19, 2021. System operations and availability should be fully restored by 8am on Sunday, June 20, 2021.

Please ensure that staff members within your department are notified of this scheduled maintenance outage.
