Certificate No.8-37 (COR) - Sabina Flores Perez

“In 2021, it was estimated that the number of Guam’s stray animal population was between 25,000 and 60,000. A lack of reproductive control can lead to further proliferation of the stray population. This certificate recognizes GAIN’s Spay and Neuter Island Pets (SNIP) Program, for its support in reducing the stray population in Guam through affordable sterilization services. The SNIP program has sterilized 2,575 dogs and cats as of February 14^th, 2023. Commendation to Dr. Mariana Turner and Dr. Brenda Smith, their staff and volunteers, for their commitment to making a sustainable impact on the animal population in Guam through these services.”

The presentation will take place on Tuesday, February 28^th, 2023, at 12:00 PM at the Guam Congress Building’s front entrance, Hagåtña, Guam.
