Subject: Second Notice of Roundtable Hearing – Friday, April 14, 2023, beginning at 2:30 p.m.

Buenas yan Håfa adai! Please be advised that the Committee on Maritime & Air Transportation, Parks, Tourism, Higher Education, and the Advancement of Women, Youth and Senior Citizens (“Committee”) will convene a Roundtable Hearing on Friday, April 14, 2023, beginning at 2:30 p.m in the Public Hearing Room, Guam Congress Building on the following:

2:30 P.M. – Roundtable Hearing - Guam Visitors Bureau

  • Reconciliation of GVB enabling act and by-laws

    • Agency findings & recommendations for amendments

    • Stakeholder review & recommendations for amendments


Watch Live

The Roundtable Hearing will broadcast on local television, GTA Channel 21, Docomo Channel 117 and stream online via I Liheslaturan Guåhan’s live feed.  A recording of the hearings will be available online via Guam Legislature Media on YouTube after the hearing. 

How to Participate

Individuals wishing to participate in the Roundtable Hearing to provide testimony may contact the Office of Senator Amanda L. Shelton at (671) 969-2574/989-2572 or via email at officeofsenatorshelton@guamlegislature.org no later than April 13, 2023, for further guidance.


If written testimonies are to be presented at the Roundtable Hearing, the Committee requests that copies be submitted prior to the hearing date and should be addressed to Senator Amanda L. Shelton, Chairwoman of the Committee. Testimonies may be submitted via drop-box or email to the Office of Senator Amanda L. Shelton at the aforementioned addresses.
