SUBJECT: FIRST NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS: Monday - May 8, 2023 beginning at 8:00 a.m.

The Committee on Fire, Agriculture, Power and Energy Utilities, Public Transit, Unemployment Insurance, and Universal Health Insurance will conduct a public hearing on Monday - May 8, 2023 at 8:00 a.m. at the Public Hearing Room in the Guam Congress Building. The committee will hear and accept testimonies on the following items:

- The Appointment of Tonya Dee M. McDaniel (Youth Representative) to serve as a member of the Board of the Guam Regional Transit Authority Board of Directors for Four (4) years.
- ROUNDTABLE HEARING ON BILL NO. 9-37 (COR):
- Bill No. 9-37 (COR) - Dwayne T. D San Nicolas, Joe S. San Agustin, Roy Anthony Benavente Quinata, Tina Rose Muña Barnes, William A. Parkinson, Therese M. Terlaje, Jesse A. Lujan, Thomas J. Fisher “AN ACT TO AMEND §58109 AND §58110 OF CHAPTER 58 AND ADDING A NEW CHAPTER 58B, TO TITLE 10, DIVISION 3, GUAM CODE ANNOTATED RELATIVE TO THE LEGALIZATION AND REGULATION OF THE USE OF CONSUMER-GRADE FIREWORKS”.

- Recent power disruptions, maintenance and operation of power plants, Okkodo Power Plant status and update.
