In accordance with the Open Government Law, relative to notices for public meetings, please be advised that the Committee on General Government Operations & Appropriations will convene budget hearings relative to Bill 26-37 (COR), the Fiscal Year 2024 Executive Budget in I Liheslaturan Guåhan’s Public Hearing Room (Guam Congress Building, Hagåtña).
The Committee will hear Bill No. 26-37 (COR) - Committee on Rules by request of I Magaʹhågan Guåhan, the Governor of Guam, in accordance with the Organic Act of Guam.
AN ACT MAKING APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE OPERATIONS OF THE EXECUTIVE BRANCH OF THE GOVERNMENT OF GUAM FOR FISCAL YEAR ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 2024, MAKING OTHER APPROPRIATIONS, AND ESTABLISHING MISCELLANEOUS AND ADMINISTRATIVE PROVISIONS.
The Committee will hear and discuss the FY24 Budget Requests on:
Monday, June 19, 2023
9 a.m. Guam Fire Department
Tuesday, June 20, 2023
2 p.m. Department of Corrections
Thursday, June 22, 2023
2 p.m. Department of Public Works
The Budget Hearing will broadcast on GTA TV Channel 21, Docomo Channel 117, and livestream on the Guam Legislature YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/c/GuamLegislatureMedia.
