Public Notice – July 30, 2021: Notice of 45-Day Public Comment Period and Public Hearing
The Guam Environmental Protection Agency (Guam EPA) wishes to notify the general public and other interested parties of the availability of the Draft Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) Permit for Andersen Air Force Base, Guam Hazardous Waste Management Facility (HWMF). The public comment period for the Draft RCRA Permit for the Andersen Air Force Base, Guam HWMF begins July 30, 2021 and closes on September 13, 2021. Written comments must be received or postmarked no later than September 13, 2021, to be considered by the Agency. No facsimile or electronic submittals will be accepted. Written comments must be submitted either by hand delivery to Guam EPA's Administration Building or by mailing to the address below:

Public Hearing is scheduled for August 30 2021, 5:00 p.m., at the Guam EPA Administration Building, 17-3304 Mariner Avenue Tiyan, in accordance with XI.A. [Adopts by reference 40 Code of Federal Regulations Part 124.10] of the Guam Hazardous Waste Management Regulations. *

The facility/acitivity type is: Open Bum/Open Detonation unit that is used to treat hazardous wastes that are reactive (D003) and/ or TCLP toxic hazardous under the regulations of Guam EPA and United States Environmental Protection Agency.
