NOTICE DETAILS:
1. PUBLIC HEARING: In accordance with Chapter 58, Division 2, Title 12, Guam Code Annotated ("the QC Law") and pursuant to the Administrative Adjudication Law, GEDA will conduct a public hearing at GEDA's conference room, located on the 5th floor of the ITC building, 590 South Marine Corps Drive, Tamuning, Guam on Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at 9:00 AM on the application of Core Tech Captive Insurance Corporation, (Applicant) for a Qualifying Certificate (QC), who is seeking the following tax benefits: a rebate of 100% of corporate income taxes payable to the government of Guam for a period of 20 years, an abatement of 100% of Business Privilege Taxes payable to the government of Guam for a period of 20 years, and an abatement of 100% of Real Property Taxes payable to the government of Guam for a period of 10 years, all for operating a captive insurance company in Guam.
2. Applicant Address: The address of the Applicant is 388 S Marine Corps Drive Suite 400 Tamuning, Guam 96913.
3. Nature of Hearing: The hearing shall be open to the public, and shall be conducted by GEDA's hearing officer pursuant to the rulemaking procedures of the Administrative Adjudication Law. Oral and written statements will be received from anyone wishing to testify thereat, of which all statements will be incorporated into the record of the hearing.
