SUBJECT: SECOND NOTICE OF OVERSIGHT HEARING – Monday, April 29, 2024 at 9 a.m.

Please be advised the Committee on Human Resources, Hagåtña Revitalization, Regional Affairs, Public Libraries, Telecommunications, Technology and Federal and Foreign Affairs and Committee on Emergency Response, Military and Veteran Affairs, Border Safety and Mayors Council will convene an oversight hearing on Monday, April 29, 2024 at 9 a.m. in the Public Hearing Room of the Guam Congress Building, on the following:
Oversight Hearing on Department of Administration
Updates on the implementation of the Government of Guam’s new Financial Management Information System (FMIS), including:
- Status of employee training for currently available and upcoming modules
- Concerns and issues raised during training and use of the new FMIS, and how they have been resolved
- Status of finalizing and bringing new modules online
- Plans to ensure adequate funding for the remainder of the FMIS contract
- Summaries of improvements resulting from the new FMIS, including, but not limited to, any reductions in processing times, increases in productivity, or savings in expenditures caused by the prior use of the AS400
