The Committee on Education, Public Safety and the Arts will conduct a public hearing on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at 2:00 pm at the Public Hearing Room in the Guam Congress Building. The agenda is as follows:

The Public Hearing will broadcast LIVE on local television (GTA Channel 21, Docomo Channel 117) and stream online via i Liheslaturan Guåhan’s live feed. Written testimonies may be sent via email at malafunkshun@guamlegislature.org.

- Bill No. 253-37 (COR) - Joe S. San Agustin - AN ACT TO AMEND § 3102.3 OF CHAPTER 3, TITLE 17 GUAM CODE ANNOTATED, RELATIVE TO THE COMPOSITION AND TERMS OF OFFICE FOR BOARD MEMBERS OF THE GUAM BOARD OF EDUCATION.
- Bill No. 276-37 (LS) - Chris Barnett / Sabina Flores Perez / Joanne M. Brown- AN ACT TO ADD A NEW PARAGRAPH (r) TO § 3103 OF CHAPTER 3, TITLE 17, GUAM CODE ANNOTATED RELATIVE TO REQUIRING ALL REPORTS OF THE SUPERINTENDENT OF EDUCATION TO THE GUAM EDUCATION BOARD BE POSTED ON THE GUAM DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION WEBSITE.
- Bill No. 282-37 (LS) - Dwayne T.D. San Nicolas- AN ACT TO ADD AMEND § 8102(v), § 8102(bb), AND § 8104(b) OF ARTICLE 1, CHAPTER 8, TITLE 5A, GUAM ADMINISTRATIVE RULES AND REGULATIONS, RELATIVE TO REMOVING THE PRAXIS CORE MATHEMATICS REQUIREMENT FROM THE GUAM EDUCATOR CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENT.
