From: Senator Shelly V. Calvo, Chairperson, Committee on Child Welfare, Youth Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women’s Affairs, Disability Services, the Arts, Culture, Historic Preservation, and Hagåtña Restoration


Re: First Notice of Public Hearing – Wednesday, April 2, 2025, beginning at 2:00 p.m.


Buenas yan håfa adai! Please be advised that the Committee on Child Welfare, Youth Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women’s Affairs, Disability Services, the Arts, Culture, Historic Preservation, and Hagåtña Restoration (“Committee”) will convene a Public Hearing on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, beginning at 2:00 p.m, in the Public Hearing Room, Guam Congress Building, with the following agenda:

 

  • Appointment of Christina R. Flores as a Member of the Board of Directors of the Guam Council on the Arts & Humanities Agency;

  • Appointment of Patricia Ann Perez Ada as a Member of the Board of Commissioners of the Hagåtña Restoration & Redevelopment Authority;

    and 
  • Appointment of Felix C. Benavente as a Member of the Board of Commissioners of the Hagåtña Restoration & Redevelopment Authority.


How to Participate

Individuals wishing to attend in person or provide oral or written testimony may contact the Office of Senator Shelly V. Calvo no later than April 1, 2025, for further guidance.


Written testimonies should be addressed to Senator Shelly V. Calvo, Chairperson of the Committee, and submitted via hand delivery or electronic mail at least one day prior to the Public Hearing.

The Public Hearing will broadcast on local television on GTA Channel 21 and Docomo Channel 117; and stream online and will be recorded for later viewing on the Guam Legislature Media YouTube channel.
