Please be advised that the Committee on Economic Investment, Military Buildup, Regional Relations, Regulatory Affairs, Technology, Justice, Elections, and Retirement will conduct a public hearing on Wednesday, June 4, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at the Guam Congress Building in the Public Hearing Room. The Committee will hear and accept testimonies of the following items:

I. Bill No. 105-38 (COR) - Introduced by William A. Parkinson- “AN ACT TO AMEND SUBSECTION (a) OF §80.70, CHAPTER 80, TITLE 9 OF THE GUAM CODE ANNOTATED, RELATIVE TO PROHIBITING PAROLE FOR VIOLENT AND SEXUAL OFFENSES.”
II. Bill No. 106-38 (COR) - Introduced by William A. Parkinson- “AN ACT TO AMEND SUBSECTION (b) OF §60.80, CHAPTER 60, TITLE 8 OF THE GUAM CODE ANNOTATED, RELATIVE TO PROHIBITING PLEA DEALS WITHOUT REASONABLE PROOF OF VICTIM NOTIFICATION.”
III. Bill No. 107-38 (COR) -Introduced by William A. Parkinson- “AN ACT TO ADD A NEW ARTICLE 5 TO CHAPTER 4, TITLE 19 OF THE GUAM CODE ANNOTATED AND TO RECODIFY 18 GCA §90113 AS A NEW §4502 THEREOF, RELATIVE TO ESTABLISHING CRIMINAL LIABILITY FOR FAILURE OF A PARENT OR LEGAL GUARDIAN TO EXERCISE REASONABLE CARE, SUPERVISION, PROTECTION, AND CONTROL OVER THEIR MINOR CHILD WHEN SUCH ACT OR OMISSION PERMITS OR ENCOURAGES THE MINOR CHILD TO COMMIT A FELONY OR MISDEMEANOR CRIME.”
