 The Committee on Transportation, Tourism, Customs, Utilities and Federal & Foreign Affairs will convene an Oversight Hearing on Thursday, July 24, 2025 beginning at 2:00 PM at the Public Hearing Room in the Guam Congress Building. The agenda is as follows:
 
                        Guam International Airport Authority
 
I.      Call to Order
II.     Opening Remarks/Housekeeping
III.    Oversight Hearing
        1.     Accountability of airport operations and finances 
                a.     Progress on infrastructure and capital improvement projects
                b.     Airline service expansion and tourism impacts
                c.      Airport security, safety, and emergency preparedness
                d.     Tenant and concessionaire concerns
                e.      Federal grant compliance and project timelines
 
        2.     Airport-tourism alignment, visitor projections, and air service development
 
        3.     Updates on federal partnerships, compliance, and grants

V.    Adjournment
 
 
Participation in the Oversight Hearing will be limited to representatives from the Guam International Airport Authority and other relevant government agencies; however, members of the public are welcome to attend the Oversight Hearing.
 
The Oversight Hearing will be broadcast LIVE on local television (GTA Channel 21, Docomo Channel 117) and streamed online through I Liheslaturan Guåhan’s YouTube Channel (@guamlegislaturemedia).
