Calvo/Tina Rose Muña Barnes-RELATIVE TO REAFFIRMING THE GUAM LEGISLATURE’S CALL FOR A MORATORIUM ON DEEP-SEA MINING IN PROTECTION OF THE LEGAL, ECONOMIC, SOCIAL, CULTURAL, AND ENVIRONMENTAL RIGHTS OF THE PEOPLE OF GUAM, AND OBJECTING TO THE PROPOSAL AND REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) BY THE UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF INTERIOR’S BUREAU OF OCEAN ENERGY MANAGEMENT (BOEM) FOR “COMMERCIAL LEASING FOR OUTER CONTINENTAL SHELF MINERALS OFFSHORE THE COMMONWEALTH OF THE NORTHERN MARIANA ISLANDS”
All agencies invited will begin testifying at 8:30 AM and public testimony will follow beginning around 9AM.
