Re: SECOND NOTICE of Oversight Hearing: March 18, 2026
The Committee on Child Welfare, Youth Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women’s Affairs, Disability Services, the Arts, Culture, Historic Preservation, and Hagatåña Restoration will conduct an Oversight Hearing on Wednesday, March 18, 2026 at 2:00 pm in the Public Hearing Room of the Guam Congress Building.
The Oversight Hearing will cover the Guam State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO) to review and discuss the Draft 2025 Programmatic Agreement, including proposed updates, consultation requirements, and anticipated impacts on historic preservation processes.
While attendance of the Oversight Hearing is open to members of the general public, participation will be limited to representatives of the Guam State Historic Preservation Office. Those interested in participating in the Public Hearing to provide testimony may contact the Office of Senator Shelly V. The Public Hearing will broadcast LIVE on local television (GTA Channel 21, Docomo Channel 117) and stream online via I Liheslaturan Guåhan’s live feed. Written testimonies may be sent via email to officeofsenatorshellycalvo@guamlegislature.gov.
