The Committee on Economic Investment, Military Buildup, Regional Relations, Regulatory Affairs, Technology, Justice, Elections, and Retirement will conduct a task force meeting on Wednesday, May 13, 2026 at 8:30 a.m., in the Guam Congress Building, Public Hearing Room on the following agenda item:


PUBLIC NOTICE OF A SCHEDULED REGULAR TASK FORCE MEETING OF THE GUAM ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE REGULATORY TASK FORCE MEMBERS

TO ALL MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC, PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:

§1. Regular Meeting: Guam Artificial Intelligence (AI) Regulatory Task Force (PL 38-77), shall hold a public meeting of its Members on Wednesday; May 13, 2026, at 8:30AM in the Public Hearing Room of the Guam Congress Building located at 163 Chalan Santo Papa Hagatna, Guam 96910.

§2. Purpose of Meeting: To develop a comprehensive framework for the regulation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the Government of Guam and private sector while protecting constitutional and organic act rights.

§3. Compliance with ADA: People with disabilities are hereby advised, pursuant to Title 2 of The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), that anyone requiring special accommodations, auxiliary aids, or services should submit a request therefore to Office of Senator Telo T. Taitague at (671) 989-8356 or email senatortelot@gmail.com.

§4. Nature of Meeting: Such meeting of the Members shall be open and public, and any member of the public shall be permitted to attend it, and shall not be required to register his or her name or give any other information, complete a questionnaire, or otherwise fulfill any condition precedent to his or her attendance; provided, that even though a person is admitted to a Guam Artificial Intelligence (AI) Regulatory Task Force meeting he or she shall not because of his or her mere presence be accorded an opportunity to participate in this meeting, and the Guam Artificial Intelligence (AI) Regulatory Task Force retains the right to reserve areas of the meeting room for the public and to exclude the public from any area necessary for the ordinary conduct of its business. §5. Public Viewing: Members of the public may attend via broadcast on local television, GTA Channel 21, Docomo Channel 117, and stream online via I Liheslaturan Guahan’s live feed on YouTube at: https://www.youtube.com/@GuamLegislatureMedia/streams. A recording of the hearing will be available online via Guam Legislature Media on YouTube after the hearing.

§6. COVID-19 Measures: Members of the public may attend in person. Attendees are highly encouraged to utilize a face mask while on the premises. People exhibiting flu-like symptoms are highly discouraged from attending.



Submission of Presentation Materials and Media: PowerPoint presentations and other digital materials must be emailed to senatortelot@gmail.com no later than three (3) days prior to the public hearing to allow timely submission to the Guam Legislature’s MIS Division at least forty-eight (48) hours in advance. These protocols are to ensure the security and integrity of the Legislature’s information systems.
