First Notice of Oversight Hearing: Tuesday May 12, 2026, 2:00 P.M.

PUBLIC HEARING

The Committee on Health and Veterans Affairs will conduct an Oversight Hearing on Tuesday May 12, 2026, beginning at 2:00 P.M., in the Public Hearing Room of the Guam Congress Building.
 
The Committee will hear and accept testimony on the following agency: Guam Office of Veterans Affairs

  • Implementation of Veterans Information Management Systems (VIMS)
  • Establishment of Interagency data-sharing frameworks
  • GOVA Website
 
  1. Strategic Communications & Outreach
  • Social Media Presence
  • Public Information Campaigns
  • Partnerships with Veterans Organizations
 
  1. Finances
  • Lapsed Funds
  • Federal Grants
  • Special Funds: Cemetery Trust Fund and Plot Allowances from VA
  1. Certificate for Vehicle Registration
  2. Veteran Benefit Claims
  3. Equipment and Materials
 
 
 
How to Participate: Written testimony may be delivered to the Office of Senator Sabrina Salas Matanane at the Guam Congress Building, 163 Chalan Santo Papa Hagåtña, Guam 96910 or via email to Office.SenatorBri@guamlegislature.gov.
