Subject:    FIRST NOTICE of Public Hearing on Thursday, June 18, 2026, 9:00 a.m.

Håfa Adai! The Committee on Economic Investment, Military Buildup, Regional Relations, Regulatory Affairs, Technology, Justice, Elections, and Retirement will conduct a public hearing on Thursday, June 18, 2026, 9:00 a.m. in the Guam Congress Building, Public Hearing Room on the following agenda item (s):

1. Bill No. 281-38 (COR)- Therese M. Terlaje- “AN ACT TO ADD A NEW § 3101.5 TO ARTICLE 1, CHAPTER 3, TITLE 16, GUAM CODE ANNOTATED RELATIVE TO EXPANDING GUAM’S WORKFORCE THROUGH A DIRECT DRIVER’S LICENSE PATHWAY FOR ADULTS.”

2. Bill No. 280-38 (COR)-  Eulogio Shawn Gumataotao/ Tina Rose Muña Barnes- “AN ACT TO AMEND § 52.10 OF CHAPTER 52 OF TITLE 9, GUAM CODE ANNOTATED, TO ADD A NEW § 52.70 TO CHAPTER 52 OF TITLE 9, GUAM CODE ANNOTATED, RELATIVE TO PROHIBITING INTERFERING WITH A JUDICIAL OFFICER; AND TO ADD A NEW § 55.70 TO CHAPTER 55 OF TITLE 9, GUAM CODE ANNOTATED, RELATIVE TO PROHIBITING INTERFERING WITH A PEACE OFFICER, IN THE INTEREST OF PUBLIC SAFETY.”

3. Bill No. 324-38 (LS)- Telo T. Taitague/Shelly V. Calvo/Therese M. Terlaje/Tina Rose Muña Barnes/V. Anthony Ada/Chris Barnett/Joe S. San Agustin- “AN ACT TO AMEND § 161.90 (a) OF CHAPTER 161, TITLE 8, GUAM CODE ANNOTATED, RELATIVE TO AUTHORIZING THE CRIMINAL INJURIES COMPENSATION COMMISSION TO CONSIDER LATE APPLICATIONS UPON A SHOWING OF GOOD CAUSE.”
