Subject:           First Notice of Oversight Hearing – Monday, October 12, 2026, 8:30 a.m.

Buenas yan Håfa adai! Please be advised that the Committee on Public Safety, Emergency Management, and Guam National Guard will conduct an Oversight Hearing on Monday, October 12, 2026, in the Public Hearing Room of the Guam Congress Building in Hagåtña based on the following agenda:

Typhoon Mawar Response and Recovery

Summary of response and recovery efforts;
Report on expenditures and encumbrances;
Damage assessment reports submitted to FEMA; and
After-action reports.

Watch Live

The Oversight Hearing will broadcast on local television, GTA Channel 21, Docomo Channel 117 and stream online via I Liheslaturan Guåhan’s live feed. A recording of the hearing will be available online via Guam Legislature Media on YouTube after the hearing.

How to Participate

Participation in the Oversight Hearing is limited to representatives from the Office of the Governor, Office of Civil Defense, Office of Homeland Security, Office of Public Accountability, and other relevant officials of the Government of Guam; however, members of the public are welcome to attend.
