NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING The Guam Department of Agriculture will hold a public hearing to solicit public comments on the Guam Forest System Plan, pursuant to the Guam Forest Legacy Act of 2012 (P.L. 31-173): “The Department (Guam Department of Agriculture) shall develop a “Guam Forest System Plan”, which shall be submitted to I Maga’lahen Guåhan, and transmitted to I Liheslaturan Guåhan for approval, in accordance with the Administrative Adjudication Act (5 GCA Chapter 63, Article 5, § 63504).” The public hearing will be held on Monday, June 10, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Sinajana Mayor’s Office, 117A Chalan Guma, Sinajana Guam, 96910. The public hearing offers an opportunity for the public to provide oral or written comments on the proposed adoption of the Guam Forest System Plan including all elements, procedures, protocols, requirements, and any provisions interpreting, supplementing, or implementing any requirements for the development of the Guam Forest System Plan, as identified in the Guam Forest Legacy Act of 2012. Copies of the Guam Forest System Plan are available for examination at the Guam Department of Agriculture, 163 Dairy Road, Mangilao, 96913. An electronic (PDF) copy of the Guam Forest System Plan will also be made available at https://doag.guam.gov for public review.
