Leon Guerrero-Tenorio Administration Announces Employment Opportunities for Dislocated Workers

PRESS RELEASE

Hagåtña, Guam – The Leon Guerrero-Tenorio Administration announces the availability of employment opportunities through the Guam Department of Labor (GDOL) Dislocated Workers Program. This new program provides individuals with training for career and job placement.

“As we carefully balance our island’s recovery, it is imperative we secure employment opportunities for our most vulnerable and underserved populations,” said Governor Lou Leon Guerrero. “Through this program, we are providing enriching pathways for individuals to secure their families, improve their economic standing, and help contribute to Guam’s prosperity.”

“Launching these job creation initiatives has taken an enormous effort through collaborative teamwork and careful planning,” said Lt. Governor Josh Tenorio. “We thank the dedicated men and women of GDOL for putting in the hard work to provide these opportunities for our people.”

Program services are customized to the applicant's specific needs and may include pre-employment enhancement, training workshops, career strategy planning and development, job referral and placement support services, and professional counseling.
