Results: Sixteen New Cases of COVID-19
Sixteen (16) new cases of COVID-19 were identified out of 841 tests performed on Thursday, May 13. Six (6) cases were identified through contact tracing. To date, there have been a total of 8,079 officially reported cases of COVID-19 with 139 deaths, 89 cases in active isolation, and 7,851 not in active isolation. The CAR Score is 0.6.
 
COVID-19 Drive-thru Testing and Drive-thru Vaccination Every Tuesday
COVID-19 drive-thru testing and drive-thru vaccination clinics are scheduled for Tuesday, May 18 and every Tuesday thereafter until further notice, at the old carnival grounds in Tiyan, Barrigada from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. COVID-19 testing will be performed by the Department of Public Health and Social Services (DPHSS). COVID-19 vaccinations will be administered by the Guam National Guard.  
 
For COVID-19 testing:
· Photo ID required
· No symptoms required for COVID-19 testing
· Results available on site
· Testing for travel-related purposes will not be conducted at this site but can be scheduled by calling the DPHSS Northern Region Community Health Center at 635-7525/6
 
For COVID-19 vaccination:
· Photo ID required
· Pfizer-BioNTech available for eligible individuals 12 years of age and older who wish to receive their first or second dose
o Parents or legal guardians must be present for minors to receive the vaccine 
o Bring your COVID-19 immunization card (Second dose only) 
· Johnson & Johnson/Janssen available for eligible individuals 18 years of age or older
· Individuals must not have a current COVID-19 infection and are encouraged to get tested prior to receiving a COVID-19 vaccine
 
Individuals may avail of both COVID-19 testing and the COVID-19 vaccine. In those cases, the COVID-19 test will be administered first. Upon receiving a negative result, the COVID-19 vaccine will be made available. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian and provide government-issued identification to validate age. The parent or legal guardian will also be required to sign a consent form on behalf of the minor to be tested or vaccinated for COVID-19. A limit of four participants per vehicle will be observed. Upon arrival, participants must adhere to all traffic directions at the site.
GDOE Reports Two Cases of COVID-19
Today, the Guam Department of Education (GDOE) confirmed two separate incidents in which two individuals tested positive for COVID-19. The first positive case was identified as a student at J.Q. San Miguel Elementary School. The second positive case was identified as a student attending Jose Rios Middle School.  
 
GDOE, in collaboration with DPHSS, is conducting contact tracing to identify and notify individuals who were in close contact with these individuals. These individuals will be placed in quarantine and/or isolation until they are cleared by DPHSS. Areas of both school campuses have been cleaned and disinfected. Regular hours of operation will continue on Monday, May 17, 2021.

Free COVID-19 Testing Schedule
COVID-19 community testing continues. No symptoms are needed. Bring a photo ID. Testing for travel purposes will not be conducted at these community testing sites. Individuals seeking COVID-19 testing to travel off-island may contact the DPHSS Northern Region Community Health Center at 635-7525/6 to schedule an appointment. For the safety of the community and nurses, only four (4) people per vehicle are allowed to be tested. Testing times, dates, and locations are below:

Food Commodities Distribution Continues Next Week
The U.S. Department of Agriculture Farmers to Families Food Box program distribution will be available to village constituents only on a first-come, first-served basis. A limit of three households per vehicle will be serviced at the distributions. Face masks must be worn. Bring a photo ID. Village Mayors distribution schedule is as follows:
