$199,929 to the University of Guam for maintenance and upgrade of the Water Environmental Research Institute of the Western Pacific Water Quality Laboratory.
“These funds will be invested in meaningful ways to uplift our island and our people,” said Governor Lou Leon Guerrero. “Not only do we continue to build upon our resilience against devastating typhoon winds and rains, but we must also work towards hardening the infrastructure that supports our day-to-day lives online.”
“Beyond security initiatives, these funds will go towards a variety of training opportunities promoting more jobs and increased accountability,” said Lt. Governor Joshua Tenorio. “Additionally, these funds will be used to support our at-risk youth.”
