Governor Josh Tenorio. “It is our hope that with the support of our federal partners and now with the addition of Disaster Unemployment Assistance, we can rebuild stronger than before. If you lost hours and wages as a result of Typhoon Mawar, we encourage you to apply for DUA starting September 5.”
DUA benefits will be retroactive to the week beginning Sunday, May 28, 2023, and can be paid up to the week ending November 25, 2023, if the individual remains eligible for DUA. The computed weekly assistance amount for the territory of Guam is $384 as determined by USDOL.
