DPHSS Guidance Memo 2020-11 Rev 11 Amendment 1
Today, the Department of Public Health and Social Services (DPHSS) issued an amendment to DPHSS Guidance Memo 2020-11 Rev 11 which provides additional guidance relative to arriving passengers from areas with no (active) cases or imported/sporadic cases of COVID-19. DPHSS Guidance Memo 2020-11 Rev 11 Amendment 1 allows for arriving passengers originating from a country with a transmission clarification to quarantine for 10 days at their personal residence or rental lodging.
DPHSS Guidance Memo 2020-11 Rev 11 Amendment 1 defines the basis of transmission classification as a process of country, territory or area self-reporting. Classifications are reviewed on a weekly basis and may be revised as new information becomes available. Differing degrees of transmission may be present within countries/territories/areas. DPHSS Guidance Memo 2020-11 Rev 11 Amendment 1 references the World Health Organization’s definitions of “no (active) cases,” and “imported/sporadic cases” as follows:

Results: One New Case of COVID-19
One (1) new case of COVID-19 was identified out of 107 tests performed on Saturday, May 15. To date, there have been a total of 8,091 officially reported cases of COVID-19 with 139 deaths, 101 cases in active isolation, and 7,851 not in active isolation. The CAR Score is 0.6.
UPDATED: COVID-19 Vaccination Schedule
COVID-19 vaccination clinics continue at the locations and times below. Bring a photo ID. Those due for their second dose are reminded to bring their COVID-19 immunization card. To view the complete schedule of COVID-19 vaccination clinics, visit dphss.guam.gov/vaccinategu.
Free COVID-19 Testing Schedule
COVID-19 community testing continues. No symptoms are needed. Bring a photo ID. Testing for travel purposes will not be conducted at these community testing sites. Individuals seeking COVID-19 testing to travel off-island may contact the DPHSS Northern Region Community Health Center at 635-7525/6 to schedule an appointment. For the safety of the community and nurses, only four (4) people per vehicle are allowed to be tested. Testing times, dates, and locations are below:
Food Commodities Distribution Continues Next Week
The U.S. Department of Agriculture Farmers to Families Food Box program distribution will be available to village constituents only on a first-come, first-served basis. A limit of three households per vehicle will be serviced at the distributions. Face masks must be worn. Bring a photo ID. Village Mayors distribution schedule is as follows:

- No (Active) Cases: No cases detected for at least 28 days (two times the maximum incubation period) in the presence of a robust surveillance system. This implies a near-zero risk of infection for the general population.
- Imported/Sporadic Cases: Cases detected in the past 14 days are all imported, sporadic (e.g., laboratory acquired or zoonotic) or are all linked to imported/sporadic cases, and there are no clear signals of further locally acquired transmission. This implies a minimal risk of infection for the general population.
