To complement the theme, the 80th Liberation logo concept was developed by Frank Perez. The portrayal of Lady Liberty holds the flame of peace high above our land, which is illustrated by the slingstone shape of the Great Seal of Guam and the island’s native flower, the Gaosåli. The radiance of the flower displays the beauty and perseverance of the CHamoru people to overcome challenges of wartime adversities as well as present-day trials and tribulations. The final symbol, the latte stone, portrays the strength and endurance to live with mutual understanding and respect for one another.
Governor Lou Leon Guerrero said, “Todu i Tiempo i Pås Para Hita" serves not only as a theme but as a fervent prayer—a prayer for enduring peace, boundless prosperity, and unbreakable unity for all who call Guam home. It encapsulates the hopes, dreams, and aspirations of every person who calls Guam home, echoing across generations as a testament to our shared heritage and collective destiny.”

Their valor and unwavering dedication to our freedom continue to inspire us, guiding our steps as we journey forward,” said Lt. Governor Josh Tenorio. “From solemn ceremonies to vibrant cultural celebrations, we will stand together as one community, honoring our veterans, cherishing our culture, and embracing our shared journey towards a brighter tomorrow.”

Official festivities to commemorate the island’s 80th Liberation are scheduled for July 19, 20, and 21 and include a Unified Memorial Ceremony, Liberation Mass, Block Party, and the annual Liberation Day Parade.
