“As we mourn those we have lost to this deadly virus, Jeff, Josh and I send our sympathies to these families,” said Governor Lou Leon Guerrero. “We, as a community, are capable of coming out of this pandemic stronger and more resilient, and we are reminded that our most vital defenses are found in the vaccine and our most useful tool is taking the extra precautions.”
46 Hospitalized for COVID-19
SPECIAL NOTE: Based on today's data, if we were to compare two (2) hypothetical populations of 100,000 people each, vaccinated versus unvaccinated, there would be 16 vaccinated people hospitalized for COVID-19 compared to 186 unvaccinated people hospitalized for COVID- 19. The risk of being hospitalized for COVID-19 is about 12 times higher for the unvaccinated as compared to the vaccinated.
COVID-19 Test Results: 97 New Cases of COVID-19
Today, the Department of Public Health and Social Services (DPHSS) reported 97 new cases of COVID-19 out of 1,149 tests performed on November 3. 60 cases were identified through contact tracing. To date, there have been a total of 18,507 officially reported cases, 248 deaths, 2,505 cases in active isolation, and 15,754 not in active isolation. The CAR Score is 10.0.
