GHPC and DYA Collaborate on Two Completed Medical Missions

The first mission was held on Saturday at the Kattan Youth Resource Center in Mangilao from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. A dedicated team of healthcare professionals, including staff from the American Medical Clinic, UOG Pre-PA students, and a GMH nurse, provided vital services such as physicals, PPD immunizations, and high blood pressure screenings.
The following day, the Guam Seventh-day Adventist Clinic partnered with UOG Pre-PA students to continue the outreach at the Lagu Youth Resource Center in Dededo from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. A total of 45 youth benefited from these free services, ensuring they were prepared for the upcoming school year.
A central feature of these missions is the use of DYA’s Centers as host venues, with staff actively identifying families in need of medical assistance—particularly those lacking the resources or transportation to access clinics on their own. The events mark a successful conclusion to the year's outreach efforts, providing essential healthcare services to the community’s youth.
