Use Your Headlights
- Any time conditions (clouds, rain, dust, smoke, fog, etc.) prevent you from seeing other vehicles
- In darkness and when visibility does not allow clear recognition of a person or vehicle from a distance of 500 feet
- When the vehicle is operated from sunset to sunrise
- When a regulatory (white) road sign is posted stating headlights must be on
- To increase your vehicle's visibility to others while driving – even on bright days and es-pecially when the sun is low on the horizon

Guam Construction Update
Motorists are advised to drive cautiously through the construction zones, observe all posted speed limit and construction signs, and carefully heed flaggers (when present). Alternate routes and/or adjusting drive times when feasible are encouraged.
Islandwide Primary Roads Paving and Pavement Markings TO-4
Route 10 – Chalan Pago-Ordot/Mangilao
Construction activities will continue along Route 10, between the Route 4 intersection and Payless through to the Route 32 intersection, from September 8-13, 2025. Intermittent lane closures in both directions are expected during work hours: Mon–Fri, 9:00 AM–4:00 PM; Sat, 7:00 AM–6:00 PM.
Motorists are advised to expect traffic delays, slow down and comply with posted speed limits when traveling through the work zone. Please remain alert for uneven pavement surfaces and temporary steel plates and drive safely at all times.
No construction activities are scheduled for Sunday, September 14, 2025.

The DPW HMC crew will be grass cutting Route 27 (Harmon Loop) and Route 25 (Alageta Street), weather permitting. Work will occur between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM Monday - Friday. The DPW asks motorists to please proceed with caution and remain alert for traffic control signs and work crews.
