“Since March 2020, the Guam Emergency Rental Assistance (ERA) Program has distributed a historic amount of rental assistance to support families and their housing needs. To date, over $7 million has been provided in rent and utility financial assistance to 2,225 households, and more families can expect to benefit from this relief,” said Governor Leon Guerrero. “Beyond helping to pay your rent for up to 12 months, this program helps with utilities, internet services, and moving expenses. Helping homeowners and families this way will get us all on track to recovering from COVID-19 and will push us all forward together.”
“While our administration is taking the necessary steps to address our homeless population, we must also ensure that we protect our families who are in vulnerable economic situations,” said Lt. Governor Tenorio. “If you or someone you know has experienced reduced household income, incurred high costs or experienced other financial hardships due directly or indirectly to COVID-19, apply today. Once deemed eligible, applicants will be assisted as quickly as possible through the Department of Administration and our community partners.”
Apply online at doa.guam.gov, via email, or in person at the ERA office on the 2nd floor, Suite 219 in the ITC building. All applicants will be notified of their pre-eligibility status by email or phone.
