Traffic Advisory for October 27 - November 2, 2025

Road Safety Reminder for the Week


This Halloween, please drive slowly in residential areas and be on the watch for trick-or-treaters. Be cautious at intersections and driveways, avoid distractions and ensure your headlights are on to improve visibility in the dark.

Guam Construction Update

Motorists are advised to drive cautiously through the construction zones, observe all posted speed limit and construction signs, and carefully heed flaggers (when present). Alternate routes and/or adjusting drive times when feasible are encouraged.
 
Islandwide Primary Roads Paving and Pavement Markings TO-4
Route 10 – Chalan Pago-Ordot/Mangilao

Construction activities will continue along Route 10, between the Route 4 intersection and Route 32 and extending up to Tenorio Street (Pochon Chicken Mangilao), from October 27 to November 1, 2025. Intermittent lane closures in both directions are expected during work hours: Mon–Fri, 9:00 AM–4:00 PM; Sat, 7:00 AM–6:00 PM.

Motorists are advised to expect traffic delays, slow down and comply with posted speed limits when traveling through the work zone. Please remain alert for uneven pavement surfaces and temporary steel plates and drive safely at all times.

No construction activities are scheduled for Sunday, November 2, 2025.
 
Islandwide Safety Improvements on Primary Roads (Striping and Marking) TO-1
Route 1/Route 6 Intersection, Maina

Construction activities will continue at the Route 1/Route 6 Intersection, between Slingstone Coffee+Tea and Pacific Welding Services, from October 27 to November 1, 2025. Intermittent lane closures in both directions are expected during work hours: Mon–Fri, 9:00 AM–4:00 PM.

No construction activities are scheduled for Sunday, November 2, 2025.

Route 30A, Tamuning

Construction activities will continue along Route 30A, between the Pay-Less Oka and St. Anthony Church, Tamuning, from October 27 to November 1, 2025. Intermittent lane closures in both directions are expected during work hours: Mon–Fri, 9:00 AM–4:00 PM.

No construction activities are scheduled for Sunday, November 2, 2025.

Route 32, Mangilao (Tentative)

Construction activities will continue along Route 32, between the Route 10/Route 32 Intersection and Campus Drive, from October 27 to November 1, 2025. Intermittent lane closures in both directions are expected during work hours: Mon–Fri, 9:00 AM–4:00 PM.

No construction activities are scheduled for Sunday, November 2, 2025.

Route 8, Mongmong-Toto-Maite (Tentative)

Construction activities will continue along Route 8, from Route 1/Route 8 intersection to Benson, Maite, from October 27 to November 1, 2025. Intermittent lane closures in both directions are expected during work hours: Mon–Fri, 9:00 AM–4:00 PM.

No construction activities are scheduled for Sunday, November 2, 2025.

Route 2A, Santa Rita-Sumai (Tentative)

Construction activities will continue along Route 2A, Santa Rita, between the Route 10/Route 32 Intersection and Campus Drive, from October 27 to November 1, 2025. Intermittent lane closures in both directions are expected during work hours: Mon–Fri, 9:00 AM–4:00 PM.

No construction activities are scheduled for Sunday, November 2, 2025.
 
Route 2 Side Cutting – Hågat
The DPW HMC crew will be side cutting along Route 2 starting from the Navy, working south. Work will occur between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM Monday – Friday. The DPW asks motorists to please proceed with caution and remain alert for traffic control signs and work crews.
 
Islandwide Grass Cutting Maintenance Project
The DPW contractor will be grass cutting at the following locations between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM, weather permitting:
  • Monday, 10/27/25: Route 15 (Yigo/Mangilao)
  • Tuesday, 10/28/25 – Wednesday, 10/29/25: Route 10 Barrigada/Mangilao/Chalan Pago
The DPW asks motorists to please proceed with caution and remain alert for traffic control signs and work crews.
