Route 16 Overpass Maintenance

(Tamuning, Guam, November 20, 2025) The Guam Department of Public Works (DPW) advises the public that maintenance on the Route 16 Overpass is ongoing and is anticipated to be completed by early December.

The DPW Highway Maintenance and Construction Section (HMC) is conducting the work which includes pressure washing, painting on the curbs and shoulders within the underpass, restriping at the north and southbound entrances onto the overpass and installation of reflective beads, reflective markers and rumble strips.

DPW encourages motorists to proceed with caution, seek alternate routes and remain alert for traffic control signs and work crews.
