Press Release

Hagåtña, Guam - The Leon Guerrero-Tenorio Administration encourages small businesses to apply for the Guam Small Business Pandemic Assistance Grant Program 2021 (PAG2021). Effective November 18, 2021, the Guam Economic Development Authority (GEDA) Board adjusted the program’s parameters, reducing the minimum business interruption percentage requirement from 25% to 20%.  GEDA will continue to receive PAG2021 applications until 5 p.m. on Thursday, December 9, 2021.

“As we continue working towards restoring the vitality of our island’s economy, we know that providing financial relief to our small businesses will support our administration’s overall efforts to create jobs, stabilize operations and foster economic growth. By expanding the eligibility requirements of this successful program, we further strengthen our business community’s ability to bounce back,” said Acting Governor Josh Tenorio. “We thank GEDA for working diligently and thoughtfully to provide more assistance to our small businesses, and we commend their tremendous contributions in processing over 1,700 applications to date.”

The PAG2021 program was established by Governor Lou Leon Guererro via Executive Order 2021-22 to provide direct financial assistance to Guam small businesses that meet all eligibility criteria. Grant funds can be used for a wide scope of eligible business operating costs, including payroll, utilities, and rent. To hear from past PAG2021 recipients, click here
