The Panda Cares Foundation, the charitable branch of the Panda Express restaurants, awarded the Guam Memorial Hospital Authority (GMHA) a grant for high-priority equipment valued at $76,090.00. Specifically, the Panda Cares Foundation purchased an electric Critical Care Crib II, an electric Springfield Procedural Crib, and a Springfield Crib (Manual Hi/Lo). The three cribs have been delivered to GMHA’s neonatal and pediatric wards. A GE Giraffe Incubator Carestation, valued at $48,306, will arrive in January 2024.

The Guam Memorial Hospital Authority (GMHA) is issuing an update following an incident earlier today involving a chilled water supply line for the GMHA Emergency Department. On Tuesday morning, the supply line malfunctioned, leading to flooding in the first-floor elevator lobby. The prompt response of GMHA staff allowed for the swift containment of the break, followed by a thorough cleaning of the affected area.

Earlier today, a chilled water supply line for the Guam Memorial Hospital Authority’s (GMHA) Emergency Department broke, causing flooding in the first floor elevator lobby.
