The Guam Memorial Hospital Authority (GMHA) is issuing an update following an incident earlier today involving a chilled water supply line for the GMHA Emergency Department. On Tuesday morning, the supply line malfunctioned, leading to flooding in the first-floor elevator lobby. The prompt response of GMHA staff allowed for the swift containment of the break, followed by a thorough cleaning of the affected area.
Earlier today, a chilled water supply line for the Guam Memorial Hospital Authority’s (GMHA) Emergency Department broke, causing flooding in the first floor elevator lobby. The break has since been contained and clean up is in progress. As a result, visitation has been temporarily restricted to a case by case basis.
