Senator Borja to Host Education Town Hall at Tiyan High School Addressing School-Wide Issues and Community Concerns
Hagåtña, Guam — Senator Vincent A.V. Borja, Chairperson of the Committee on Education, will be hosting a Community Town Hall Meeting on Education to address ongoing concerns and opportunities within Guam’s public education system. The event will take place on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. at the Tiyan High School Gymnasium.
As the island continues through School Year 2025–2026, Senator Borja reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring that every student in Guam learns in a safe, effective, and student-centered environment. The upcoming town hall serves as a platform for open dialogue between students, families, and educators.
“Our schools face real challenges, and meaningful progress requires that we hear directly from those who live and work in these environments every day,” said Senator Borja. “This town hall is about bringing our community together to address issues head-on and to build solutions that put students first.”
Key topics of discussion during the town hall will include:
Community members are encouraged to attend and participate in the conversation—whether to share experiences, raise concerns, or propose solutions to strengthen Guam’s education system.
