AMENDED PUBLIC NOTICE - GUAM MEDICAID – MEDICAID DRUG REBATE PROGRAM (MDRP) SECTION 1115 WAIVER DEMONSTRATION APPLICATION

ANNOUNCEMENT

The Guam Medicaid Program, administered under the Department of Public Health and Social Services (DPHSS), Division of Public Welfare is providing public notice of its intent to: (1) submit to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), on or before August 1, 2022, a written 1115 Demonstration application to waive the mandate for the Guam Medicaid Program to participate in the Medicaid Drug Rebate Program (MDRP); and (2) hold public hearings to receive comments on the 1115 Waiver Demonstration application. Guam Medicaid is applying under section 1115(a)(1) of the Act to waive section 1902(a)(54), which requires state compliance of section 1927 that mandates participation in the Medicaid Drug Rebate Program (MDRP), and the program is requesting that the waiver be effective January 1, 2023.

More All RISE Payments Processed

PRESS RELEASE

The Guam Department of Revenue and Taxation (“DRT”) announced that on June 7, 2022, the agency processed an additional 118 payments for the All RISE Program totaling $110,400. The amount comprised 80 paper checks and 38 electronic funds transfers. Total payments to date are as follows:

PRESS RELEASE

Barrigada, GU – The Guam Department of Revenue and Taxation (“DRT”) announced that on April 25, 2022, the agency processed an additional 85 payments for the All RISE Program totaling $80,000. The amount comprised 50 paper checks and 35 electronic funds transfers. The top reasons All RISE Program applicants may not have received a payment are: 1. Applicant did not have a validly filed and processed 2020 Guam income tax return 2. Applicant made an error on the application to include error in name, social security number, mailing address, direct deposit information, or filing status DRT continues to review and address errors on the remaining “S” status applications.
