The Department of Revenue & Taxation has processed and the Department of Administration will mail checks for or pay by direct deposit 1,317 tax year 2020 and prior income tax refunds this week. Total income tax refunds paid is approximately $ 3,525,967 including refunds garnished to repay government debts. These represent payment of 1,317 error free returns filed on or before April 28, 2021.

Governor Lou Leon Guerrero met with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) at the Guam Memorial Hospital (GMH) today, picking up from discussions they had during their meeting in Hawaii on August 3, 2021. The USACE team included USACE Commander Lt. Col. Eric Marshall, Civil and Public Works Chief Rhiannon Kucharski, and Interagency and International Services (IIS) and Medical Program Manager Don Schlack. In the coming days, Governor Leon Guerrero will formally submit a letter of engagement to USACE to assist with planning and oversight assistance with her vision for a Medical Center of Excellence, which she coined Sagan Hinemlo’, a place of healing.

Barrigada, GU – The Guam Department of Revenue and Taxation (“DRT”) announced today that it has processed and transmitted to the Treasurer of Guam additional EIP 3 Program payments for release. From April 10, 2021 through July 23, 2021, DRT processed over 82,937 payments totaling $216.2 million.
