Hagåtña, Guam – On May 12, 2022, the Department of Revenue & Taxation processed and the Department of Administration will be mailing checks, or paying by direct deposit, approximately 2,897 of Fiscal Year 2021 and prior income tax refunds totaling $8,218,482 for error-free returns filed on, or before, March 24, 2022.
$8.2 Million in Tax Refunds Paid 33,000 Early Filers for Tax Year 2021 Paid To Date
Barrigada, GU – The Guam Department of Revenue and Taxation (“DRT”) announced that on April 25, 2022, the agency
processed an additional 85 payments for the All RISE Program totaling $80,000. The amount comprised 50 paper checks
and 35 electronic funds transfers.
The top reasons All RISE Program applicants may not have received a payment are:
1. Applicant did not have a validly filed and processed 2020 Guam income tax return
2. Applicant made an error on the application to include error in name, social security number, mailing address, direct
deposit information, or filing status
DRT continues to review and address errors on the remaining “S” status applications.

The Guam Department of Revenue and Taxation Announces 85 Payments Totaling $80,000 Processed on April 25, 2022
HAGATNA, GUAM - The Department of Revenue & Taxation has processed and
the Department of Administration will mail checks for 95 tax year 2020 and prior
income tax refunds this week.
Total income tax refunds paid is approximately $ 690,696 including refunds
garnished to repay government debts. These represent payment of 95 error
free returns filed on or before January 22, 2022.
To check the status of your income tax refund please log into your individual
account at https://www.myguamtax.com/ and use the ‘Lookup Status of 1040
Refund’ tool.

The Guam Department of Revenue & Taxation (DRT) announced that the 2022 income tax
filing season began on Monday, January 24, 2022. This is the date that DRT began accepting 2021 tax year
returns and is in line with the date that the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) also began the nation’s tax season.
The due date for filing of returns is Monday, April 18, 2022.

The Guam Department of Revenue and Taxation (“DRT”) has processed the second of five
installments for the Advance Child Tax Credit (“Adv CTC”) for Guam residents. A total of 15,460 payments
totaling over $8,444,900 were processed on September 30, 2021. All payments were processed as paper checks.
SECOND INSTALLMENT OF THE ADVANCE CHILD TAX CREDIT FOR GUAM RESIDENTS
The Department of Revenue & Taxation has processed and the Department of Administration will mail checks for or pay by direct deposit 2,069 tax year 2020 and prior income tax refunds this week.
Total income tax refunds paid is approximately $ 5,435,726 including refunds garnished to repay government debts. These represent payment of 2,069 error free returns filed on or before July 02, 2021.
