The Guam Memorial Hospital Authority (GMHA) was honored to receive a donation from Sagua Mañagu for its Maternal Child Health (MCH) department. Sagua Mañagu donated much-needed medical supplies for the department’s Labor & Delivery unit, including syringes, tubing, cuffs, gauze, sutures, surgical gowns, and more. The donation is valued at $15,755.44
Yesterday, the Guam Memorial Hospital Authority (GMHA) bid farewell to NDMS medical personnel deployed to assist the hospital’s Emergency Room in the aftermath of Typhoon Mawar. The medical team came from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Administration for Strategic Preparedness & Readiness (ASPR) National Disaster Medical System (NDMS). Two NDMS teams were sent to assist GMHA in the ER which was inundated with patients following the storm.
